Its all over... well... sort of.

Hello readers,

LOL JK no one reads this.

this course was a complete dissapointment. i think that the teachers are all good at their own subjects, however i don't believe any of them were suitable for the role of the diploma. there was no communication between them leaving the students completely confused about everything.

i have two comments on my blog, only two, both from ms.flavell, i think thats discusting, i was told this was a vital part of the course, however, none of my teachers bothered to even look at it. i'm really got fed up by year 11.

i failed the course because no one told me about my exams.
i failed this course because my teachers were bad at their job and didn't care about the students.
in year 10 i loved this course, everyone told me not to take it because it was new and unreliable. but i thought it would be nice to be in the first year of this course. i guess i should of listened to them.

we wasted endless lessons on things that were nothing to do with anything.

i used to say this was a compelete waste of time, i think in some aspects it was. but i have met some amazing people who have changed my life without even meaning to and for that i am thankful, i just wish i could've done that without wasting GCSE options.

i never finished the course, so i guess technically this isn't the end.

but it is for me.

i would discourage anyone and everyone from taking this course, don't do it, its a terrible, unreliable course, i think thats more to do with our school though.

i will leave you with these words four:

the diploma is shit.

For the last time,

kit

Hi Kitty,
I'm sorry it went so wrong. I agree that you had some great teachers who just couldn't work together (we really needed more time behind the scenes) to bring you what this course should have been. Personally, I don't think the Diploma is a shit course. But if I am ever involved in teaching it again it will not be with 4 teachers in charge. I think that was our biggest mistake at SNS. The whole point of the Diploma is to combine disciplines and we just didn't manage it this time. I hope you enjoy the AS Media course and are able to put this behind you. You seem to have developed a great maturity since I left for maternity leave and I'm looking forward to this year with you in the class. Good luck!

Finally, can I just say that if you are unclear about what to do in AS Media at any point, please ask me asap! If I don't know the answer instantly, I'll find out. Ms F
