Its all over... well... sort of.

Hello readers,

LOL JK no one reads this.

this course was a complete dissapointment. i think that the teachers are all good at their own subjects, however i don't believe any of them were suitable for the role of the diploma. there was no communication between them leaving the students completely confused about everything.

i have two comments on my blog, only two, both from ms.flavell, i think thats discusting, i was told this was a vital part of the course, however, none of my teachers bothered to even look at it. i'm really got fed up by year 11.

i failed the course because no one told me about my exams.
i failed this course because my teachers were bad at their job and didn't care about the students.
in year 10 i loved this course, everyone told me not to take it because it was new and unreliable. but i thought it would be nice to be in the first year of this course. i guess i should of listened to them.

we wasted endless lessons on things that were nothing to do with anything.

i used to say this was a compelete waste of time, i think in some aspects it was. but i have met some amazing people who have changed my life without even meaning to and for that i am thankful, i just wish i could've done that without wasting GCSE options.

i never finished the course, so i guess technically this isn't the end.

but it is for me.

i would discourage anyone and everyone from taking this course, don't do it, its a terrible, unreliable course, i think thats more to do with our school though.

i will leave you with these words four:

the diploma is shit.

For the last time,

Diploma Day.

Well, today we have been organizing the festival. This is such a disaster. I've been trying to organize the musicians but it's not working. They ask me information and I have no idea what to tell them. I'm really worried about this festival. We have no money. Regular festivals cost tons and thousands of pounds. We have £20. We have been trying to build a set but it's an utter disaster. We have been painting cardboard lollypops that also look awful by the way. I'm sorry that I keep on complaining. But it really is terrible. On a brighter note, the fashion show seems to be coming along really well. I guess every cloud has a silver lining...

Planning the Festival.

I'm at home now and I'm getting quite frustrated. I'm trying to do some festival organizing from here but it's proving difficult. There is NO communication in this course, between teachers and students. I can't see the festival going well at this point. It's so unorganized. No one has heard of that we're doing the festival is delayed because SOMEONE <<<<<<<<<<< isn't making them in lesson. Infact the poster maker is playing boxhead. I find it really difficult to rely on other people for my grade. It's incredibly demotivating. Tomorow, we have diploma all day... I'm dreading it.

Festival.

Recently we started our new unit 'festival'. We have been assigned roles and at the moment are doing what we need to to help it come together. I have been told to organize the showing of the music videos. However, I am getting very frustrated. Mr. Cullingford is in an art exam and therefore can't give me the hardrives I need to pursue my job title. I am getting very frustrated with the schools constant disorganization. Yesterday I discovered the festival is in a week. I am annoyed and frustrated with the last minute attitude of this course. It is really discouraging when nothing works in this school. My artifact is lost, my music video is lost and I feel really upset with the way the course has turned out for me. When we did our 'woyzeck' performance, all the roles got thrown out the window when we were left with so little time to prepare. I'm so aggravated and really don't want to do this festival.

Hmph!

Well, the stress this course has caused me is ridiculous. Last year, we started artefacts with Mr. Cullingford and Ms. Peddie. We spent a few weeks preparing and then one Tuseday, we were told to finish it. During the last 10 minutes, I was running to get a stapler when i got a foot injury and had to be rushed to A&E leaving my work, hanging in the drift. The school year was soon over and everything had been packed up to move to the other end of the school. The next year came around and I discovered sometime between the moving of the school and packing up of work, my artefact got lost. I decided to deal with it a bit later seeing as I was in the middle of science exams. A few weeks prior to this discovery we were told to create a music video, a piece of clothing, a script or a sculpture/painting. I chose a music video and after two weeks of planning I put aside a Saturday to film my video. I finished it and uploaded the tape. I spend a frustrating but apcomplished Tuesday putting together the film and editing it. At the end of the day I saved it onto the hard drive and vowed to put effects on the next lesson. I missed the next Tuesday but the next lesson we were sat down and told all of our work was due the next day. Obviously, I was worried seeing as my artefact was lost and I hadn't even finished my music video. So I decided to start straight away on my music video. But after two hours of searching I found out someone had lost all three diploma hardrives leaving another piece of MY vital coursework lost by the school. Two days after this second mistake made by the school, my mother got a call saying it would be best if I dropped the course because I was "under achieving"... my mum knew all the work they'd lost and was outraged along with me. It's quite funny really, because the examiners happen to be coming next week... hmm. All I know, is that I am completely swamped with English coursework, Maths coursework, Science GCSE revision and now a whole load of diploma work. But oh wait for it... its all due next week! How great is that? Two days to complete all of the above. Well, I should get started, I'll need all the time I can get. I think my opinions have really changed about this course. I loved it in year 10.
Now... I would advise NO ONE to take this course.
Until Next Time!

Wikipedia

Today I was sitting at home when i decided to start doing my way over due coursework for Drama. So I sat down, opened my book and started working on the notes Ms.Cornish had given me. After about half an hour I came onto Reaissance Theatre. So I decided to look it up on google. As usual the first thing that came up was Wikipedia. So I clicked on the link and started to read. I looked at the note she had written me and it told me to look up the type of theatre it was performed in. So I scrolled down the page and sure enough there was a Sub Heading that read: Theatre. So I started to read and was shocked by what I found.

Theatres

once they were in operation, drama was mainly based on sex related plays, often including bondage porn and rape, however after shakespeare's death it got less brutal but more pleasent.it ended up just being 2 lovers having sex on stage at the turn of the century. however shakespeare's inflyuence on plays involving sex was not lost permanently when in 1608 an english farmer made a play involving the ghost of WIlliam raping his accompliaces from his time. bondage porn plays were introduced again in 1800 by sir richard awkright and he famously invented the daisy chain by havin all the whores in town licking eac ohter out on stage... he sadly died after catching 3 STDs.

As I looked over the rest of the page I realised that there was an edit button below each Sub Heading making it assessable to the public. Shocked that I hadn't realised this and annoyed that it wasn't made clear enough, I realised a lot of the information I had collected all over the years could of all been made up. Just shows you can't always trust the internet!

I've had some more idea's. I've been thinking that I can have two people acting out the song whilst i am singing behind them. They will bump into eachother and start to talk.
